Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bostmap.com, the Bostmap WordPress plugin, and related services (“Bostmap”). By using Bostmap, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Bostmap for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
The service
Bostmap is designed to connect an authorized WordPress site to Google, assist with supported ownership-verification methods, detect or accept an existing sitemap, and submit the sitemap URL to Google Search Console. Bostmap does not generate a sitemap, replace an SEO plugin, create metadata, or guarantee crawling, ranking, traffic, or indexing.
Accounts and authorization
- You must be authorized to administer every WordPress site and Google property you connect.
- You are responsible for reviewing the permissions displayed by Google and maintaining the security of your WordPress administrator account.
- You may revoke Google authorization at any time. Some features will stop working after revocation.
- You must provide accurate information and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You may not use Bostmap to access or verify a site you do not own or administer; bypass security; interfere with the service; distribute malware; misrepresent authorization; violate Google policies or applicable law; reverse engineer protected service components except where law permits; or use automated requests that unreasonably burden the service.
Free launch period
Bostmap is offered without a usage price during its current launch stage. We may introduce paid features or plans later. We will provide clear notice before charging for a feature that was previously free, and no charge will occur without an affirmative purchase or subscription choice.
Google and third-party services
Bostmap depends on WordPress, Google OAuth, Google Site Verification, Google Search Console, hosting providers, and other third-party systems. Their terms and availability also apply. Google may reject verification, refuse a sitemap, change an API, revoke a token, or decide not to crawl or index a URL. Bostmap is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, WordPress, or other sitemap providers.
Ownership and feedback
Bostmap and its original design, software, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of your websites, sitemaps, content, and feedback. If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it to improve Bostmap without an obligation to compensate you.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Bostmap at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, address security risk, comply with law, protect third-party systems, or enforce these Terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
Disclaimers and liability
Bostmap is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted service, successful verification, successful sitemap acceptance, or Google indexing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bostmap will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, traffic, rankings, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update Bostmap or these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be announced through the website, plugin, or account contact information. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
